For our winter issue, Twist Collective asked our contributors where they look for colour while the northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun. Click on their images below for their answers, and for links to their individual websites.

Snow in the sunshine or bright blue winter sky. Frozen leaves or ice on the ground. Candle light and darkness around. Cold grey mornings, frost bite noses, deep white in snow drifts. Warm memories of the summer and sunshine, flowers and green grass. A good book and some imagination. A box of chocolate and a cup of coffee. There I look for the colour in the winter.
