Chrissy Gardiner

Although I now live in the eternally green Pacific Northwest where color is never hard to find, I grew up in snowy Minnesota and learned to appreciate the subtle, icy shades of winter from a young age. A few of my favorite examples: white snow on deep green evergreen branches; the deep blue-gray of lakewater right before it freezes; the bright red head of a woodpecker on a birch tree.
