Stuffing, tapestry needle, doll making needle, black embroidery floss, brown embroidery floss to match MC, scrap of red felt for tongue, 2 buttons 1¼” / 32 mm diameter, two glass eyes 3/8” / 10 mm diameter, small dog tag or medallion
Gauge: 28 sts and 36 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st (before stuffing)
This toy is knitted at a tight gauge to keep the stuffing from showing.
Construction Notes: Knit in a tight gauge for a firm fabric, in pieces which are stuffed before they are sewn together. Poseable hip joints are accented with large buttons. Glass eyes and embroidered nose and mouth. |
