Mod Corner: Little Birds
Hi everyone! Welcome to the second installment of Mod Corner, where we take a look at some of Twist readers' creative interpretations of our patterns. Today we are looking at Little Birds, Ysolda Teague's pretty cardigan from our inaugural issue.
Not only are knitters still making this sweater, they are making amazing things using the pattern.
carli84 kept this top as a cardigan, but completely changed up the shape and neckline. I love that acid green she chose for the birds, and how the buttons line up and match perfectly with the leafy stripes.
RobynPearl made this cool vest. I love the deep waist ribbing and the color choices, they give this top a vintage feel.
Dahlia made this great classic crew neck pullover. I love how even with so many colors, this top doesn't seem loud.
flyingdandelion also made a pullover, but with a finer gauge and a scooped neckline. So pretty!
jojowheeler made this sweet vest. It's barely bigger than a swatch; anyone making this sweater could do one of these little cuties to test out color combinations and figure out the charts!
undone57 also made something wee, but with a hood and a zipper! How adorable is this?
Fiolinn also made a sweet top for a tiny human.
Inspiring work, right? What would you do with this pattern?
