This snug fitting wrap front sweater is knit in 5 pieces with set-in sleeves and wrap-around neckband, using 2 leafy lace patterns. The sleeves are done in Elm, an open lace pattern. Poplar is a similar but “closed” lace pattern used for the body of the sweater. The wrap is secured with a single button closure at waist and a hidden interior button

Yarn: 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) skeins Sunday Knits Eden 3-ply (246 yds / 225 m per 1 ¾ oz / 50 g skein; 100% Merino) in Iris

Needles & Notions: Size 5 US / 3.75 mm knitting needles
Size 4 US / 2.00 mm steel crochet hook, tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, one 1” / 25 mm decorative button and one ⁷⁄₁₆” / 10 mm button for inside closure

Gauge: 34 sts on RS, 32 sts on WS = 5 ½” / 14 cm and 32 rows = 3 ½” / 9 cm in Poplar (body) stitch pattern. 34 sts on RS, 32 sts on WS = 5 ¾” / 14.5 cm and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Elm (sleeve) stitch pattern
