At Twist Collective we are dreaming of winter, but here are some things we thought you'd like to know about while we get ready for our next issue.

Kate took the sweaters from the Twist Collective premier issue with her to the Green Mountain Spinnery’s 17th Annual Knitters’ Weekend for an impromptu trunk show. It was so much fun that we're going to do it again at Trumpet Hill Fine Yarn and Accents in Albany, New York, on October 16th at 6:30 pm. There will be tasties and Kate will be there with sweaters from the fall, and maybe one or two from the upcoming winter issue as well. Stop on by if you're in the neighborhood or on the way to the Sheep and Wool Festival at Rhinebeck.

twist tape measures

Irene, Kate, and Julia will all be at Rhinebeck October 18 & 19 with our signature tape measures to hand out to Twist customers. Wear your Twist Collective finished items, tote your WIPs, or just flash your copy of one of our patterns, and we'll hand one over as a kind of belated thank you. Supplies are limited, so hail us early.

Don’t forget, the winter issue arrives in November, with 28 new designs, fun and useful articles by Abby Franquemont, Margaret Klein Wilson, and a few other people you might know. Look for gift ideas and great sweaters by Norah Gaughan, Robin Melanson, Mari Muinonen, the Zephyr Style gals, lots of returning contributors from our premiere, and many others. We can't wait.

Here's a little advance notice: we're planning a fashion show for the weekend of November 14th or 15th at the Yarn and Fiber Company at their great new location in Derry, New Hampshire. To celebrate the winter issue, we'll have sweaters from both Fall and Winter. Mark your calendars and watch the blog for details.
