Yarn: 4 (5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8) skeins Lorna’s Laces Green Line Worsted (210 yds / 192 m per 4 oz / 113 g skein; 100% Organic Merino Wool) in Echo.

Needles & Notions: Size 9 US / 5.5 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm or longer or long straight needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. Nine buttons about 1 ½” / 4 cm diameter, tapestry needle, scrap yarn for provisional cast on(s) and holding stitches.

Gauge: 16 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Garter stitch. The sideways Garter stitch will grow lengthwise when worn and this is taken into account in the pattern. To save time and to ensure accurate sizing, check gauge.

Construction Notes: Knit in one piece from right front around the body to the left front, with sleeves worked as you come to them. Shaping is accomplished with short rows.  Lace yoke and edging patterns are given in chart form only.
