Construction Notes: This sweater is knit in pieces and sewn together. The body is worked in a wide ribbing, interrupted by a broad band of slip stitch patterning at the yoke. The slip stitch pattern is presented both in a chart and in row-by-row instructions. The set-in sleeves are worked separately and sewn into place. Stitches are picked up along the neckline for the hood, which is shaped with decreases in the back and joined at the top with a 3-needle bind off. Decorative ties are attached at the front of the hood. |
